Terms of service

Unbindly is a trading name of legal entity pending, registered at address pending. You can reach us at support address pending or through our contact page.

We are independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any manufacturer named on this site. Where we contact a manufacturer, we do so as your representative and we say so.

You ask us to help reconnect a device that is still tied to an account you cannot access. We assess whether that is possible, prepare the case, and handle the manufacturer’s own process on your behalf until there is a decision.

We do not promise an outcome. The decision belongs to the manufacturer. We promise to tell you honestly whether your case is worth attempting, to do the work properly, and to keep you informed.

• Bypass, defeat or circumvent a security or anti-theft control.
• Alter, forge or misrepresent a document.
• Access anyone’s account, or ask you for anyone’s credentials.
• Impersonate you, a manufacturer, or anyone else.

If a request would require any of the above, we decline it and tell you why.

• You must lawfully own the device. By submitting a request you confirm that you do, and that you are entitled to ask for the account binding to be removed.
• The information you give us must be accurate as far as you know. A wrong identifier costs everyone time; a knowingly false claim of ownership ends the engagement.
• If we ask you for something and hear nothing, the case stalls. We will chase you before closing anything.

If we come to believe a device was not lawfully acquired, we stop work immediately and are not obliged to continue or refund work already performed.

We quote your price before any work begins, and that quoted price is what applies to your case even if our prices change later.

• Standard. You pay after the unbinding succeeds. If it does not succeed, you owe nothing.
• Fast. You pay before work begins, and your case is picked up ahead of the standard queue. Fast buys attention from us, not a faster decision from the manufacturer.

What counts as success, and the deadline for paying once it is reached, are set out in our cancellation and refunds page. Any administration fee a manufacturer charges directly is handled as fee responsibility pending.

You can stop a request. What that means for money already paid is set out in full on the cancellation and refunds page, which forms part of these terms.

We are liable for failing to provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for a manufacturer’s decision, for how long a manufacturer takes, or for loss of use of a device while a case is open.

Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our total liability for any case is capped at the fee you paid us for that case. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.

Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer, where those apply to you.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your case is the one published when you submitted it. Material changes will be noted here with a new date.
